What is a Gravity:
Gravity is a natural force that attracts two objects towards each other. It is the force that pulls objects toward the center of the Earth or any other celestial body.
Every particles of matter (Electron, Proton, Neutron) in the universe attracts every other particle everywhere with a force that is proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between their centers.

According to Sir Isaac Newton, any two objects attract each other. This force of attraction is proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them. This means that the greater the distance between two objects, the lesser will be the strength of gravity. And the greater the mass of the objects, the greater will be the force of attraction.

1. Sufficient Gravity
Earth has a substantial mass, which gives it enough gravitational pull to retain gases close to its surface. Gravity prevents the atmosphere from drifting into space. Planets with weaker gravity, like Mercury, struggle to hold onto their atmospheres, while Earth’s gravity is strong enough to maintain a thick layer of gases.
2. Magnetic Field Protection
Earth's magnetic field, generated by its molten iron core, protects the atmosphere from being stripped away by solar winds. Without this protection, solar radiation could erode the atmosphere, as it has done on Mars. The magnetic field deflects harmful solar particles, preserving the atmosphere’s integrity.
3. Right Distance from the Sun
Earth is located in the "Goldilocks zone" of the solar system, which means it’s at just the right distance from the Sun—not too close and not too far. This allows for temperatures that keep most of the atmospheric gases in a stable form. If Earth were closer, the atmosphere could be stripped away, as happened with Venus, or if it were farther, gases might condense and freeze out.
So Gravity holds the atmosphere in place, allowing life to thrive. It causes objects to fall when dropped. It provides weight to objects and organisms, making movement and stability possible.

It is the reason why the solar system and galaxies hold their structure.
